A night walk with the dog around the still lake of St. Moritz. Stars, village lights and a full moon overhead, but no moon in the water. That image became the line at the heart of the song: under the moon, we are the stars. Offbeat 90s piano on a KORG M1, music and lyrics written in a single night.

A slower pulse after four high-energy singles. The spark was a quiz-show cue on the TV in the next room, soothing and repetitive like a metronome. Repeating bass, suspended pads, long strings and a lyric cut down to a mantra. Breathe in, let go.

It started as a hard, hypnotic tech-house loop that felt unfinished for days. The missing piece came on an afternoon with Pink Floyd and Héroes del Silencio: guitars and synths carrying the weight of another era. No light, the present, without the dark, the past. The bridge breaks open like punk, then drops back to the floor.

Minimal, bass-driven house with a 90s heart. The chorus is stitched from tributes to the records of that decade, from Snap! to Dr. Alban and Gala, and the title carries a second meaning: the 90s are still in me. Male rap verses against a female chorus, the classic Eurodance shape in a darker, sleeker sound.

Thirty-five years after the first record, a concept album in seven movements through the sounds of a whole career. For the first time the lyrics came first, then the melody, then the music. It is also his first work with AI in the process, next to Logic, MIDI instruments and samples. Built to be heard in order.

A jazz band, a trumpet, a recording studio after school. Then the dance floors of the 90s, records in Milan and twenty years behind the camera.
Grows up on the stages of his father’s jazz band, The Old Time Ramblers. Trumpet and music theory at the Filarmonica di Lugano, and long afternoons at Kiko Berta’s K-Sound studio in Bellinzona.
His first dance record, at 16.
The Time Is Right as DJ Filo feat. Amadeus, on Fresh Music, the label that launched DJ BoBo. Released in more than 20 countries.
Moves to Milan. Around thirty records follow, with Propio Records, EMI, Sony, Universal, BMG Ariola, ZYX and others.
Resident DJ at Vivai, Absolut and Pit Stop in St. Moritz, with nights across Switzerland and Italy.
