Filippo Giani presents I’m in You

I’m in You is not simply a dance track built around love, desire and movement. At its core, it is also a song about memory — and more specifically about the way the 1990s still live inside the body, the language and the imagination of Filippo Giani.

The production places the track in a modern, minimal house setting, with a cool bass-driven pulse and a sleek underground tension, but the song’s deeper identity comes from somewhere else: its deliberate dialogue with the dance culture of the 90s. That dialogue is built directly into the lyric. The chorus and bridge are filled with lines that do not function as random quotations, but as conscious tributes to that era and to the songs that shaped an entire emotional and sonic vocabulary.

Like rhythm and a dancer clearly echoes Rhythm Is a Dancer by Snap!, while We sing hallelujah recalls Doctor Alban and Freed from all desire openly nods to Gala. The upward motion of Higher and higher continues that same atmosphere of 90s dance euphoria, while in the bridge It’s my life returns to Doctor Alban again, and No vain mask evokes the memory of Mr. Vain and that whole world of Eurodance identity, attitude and immediacy. Even the phrase Young blood runs carries the feeling of another era’s pop-dance iconography. None of these elements are there by accident. They are not decorative references, but part of the song’s concept.

That is why the title I’m in You carries a double meaning. On the surface, it speaks the language of intimacy and physical closeness. But at a deeper level, the song is also saying something else: the 90s are in me. Those rhythms, hooks, vocal structures and emotional codes are still alive inside the artist, and the track turns that inheritance into something new.
