Filippo Giani presents Reset

Reset marks a temporary shift away from Filippo Giani’s more classic dance and house BPM, embracing a slower, more relaxed pulse — almost a pause, or indeed a “reset” — after four highly energetic and dynamic singles. The inspiration came unexpectedly. While cooking at home, Giani had a TV game show playing in the living room, and during a contestant’s thinking time he noticed a background cue that was both soothing and repetitive, almost like a metronome. That accidental moment triggered the idea for Reset.

Built more like a mental state than a traditional song, Reset starts from a reinterpreted sample and unfolds as a deep, hypnotic track driven by repetitive bass movement, suspended pads, long strings and evolving harmony. The lyric is reduced to a few essential words, almost like a mantra, turning the song into a gesture of breath, release and realignment. Rather than telling a story, Reset creates a space: intimate, nocturnal, minimal and emotional, where tension never fully explodes but keeps moving beneath the surface. The result is a refined underground piece with a cinematic pull and a strong inner pulse.
