COLLEZIONE MILANO

It is with great pleasure that, after more than 20 years away from the music production world, I’ve decided to celebrate my 50th birthday by creating a series of collections that reflect my personal experiences in the cities where I’ve lived.

Although I was born and raised in Lugano—where my musical journey first began—I’ve chosen to start this new chapter in Milan, a city that deeply shaped me during the vibrant 1990s. While studying at university, I also developed and refined my skills in Dance and House music, working closely with some of the leading producers of that era on the international dance scene.

Over the years, I produced dozens of records with major labels such as Flying Records, Propio Records, EMI, SONY, Universal, Freshmusic, Zyx Records and BMG Ariola. Those were truly unforgettable years, filled with music day and night. The people I met enriched me—not only as a producer and musician—but most importantly as a human being.

Now, I’m ready to begin again—30 years later—with the same passion, but a whole new perspective.

This has already been a powerful learning experience. Technology has changed so drastically in the past two decades that I’m amazed every day by how intuitive and accessible music production has become. Still, I firmly believe that we Gen X creators, with our analog roots, have something valuable to share—perhaps even with younger generations.

And so, I proudly present:

“COLLEZIONE MILANO” — three tracks rooted in the dance world, each with its own flavor, yet united by a common stylistic element: the trumpet:

• Gonna Make You Mine, Neon Soul and Time Of Our Lives and their “DJ Extended Versions”!

The trumpet was my first instrument as a child, the one I heard my father play since the day I was born. It opened the door to the incredible world of music, and now, after all these years, it’s still part of my voice.
