Welcome to my Music World

Music has been part of my life since childhood, growing up around the stages played by my father’s jazz band, The Old Time Ramblers. I later studied music theory and trumpet at the Filarmonica di Lugano, and spent many afternoons as a sort of intern — or simply the little kid hanging around — at the legendary K-SOUND / Kiko Berta’s recording studio in Bellinzona, where hundreds of nationally and internationally known bands recorded. Those early experiences helped me develop a deep sensitivity to sound and production.

At 16, I released my first dance record. At 17, a second production followed, distributed internationally under the label that launched DJ BoBo. That was the beginning of my journey in the European dance scene of the 1990s. From the 1990s until 2001, I also worked as a DJ, holding residencies at Vivai, Absolut and Pit Stop in St. Moritz, while performing throughout Switzerland and Italy.

During my years in Milan, where I moved in 1995 to study Public Relations, I produced around thirty records, collaborating with Flying Records, Propio Records, EMI, SONY, Universal, Freshmusic, ZYX Records and BMG Ariola.

After more than twenty years devoted to international audiovisual production through ibexmedia gmbh, I began gradually returning to music in 2024. But it was only at the beginning of 2026 — 35 years after my first record — that this return became official, with the release of the Album 35 Years In: A Work in Seven Movements.

It was a return full of surprises. After years away from MIDI software and samplers, I found myself in a completely transformed creative landscape, where the ease, speed and flexibility of production felt almost unbelievable. Alongside the remarkable evolution of music creation and composition software, I also discovered AI as a new tool for both production and creativity.
